Keith – Owner/Coach
Keith got an early start into the Fitness industry. At the age of 6 Keith started to study Karate at his father’s Karate school for almost 13 years. Keith’s interest and participation into lifting started at the age of 17 and he has never looked back. Keith proudly served in the U.S. Army for 8 years and has a honorable Discharge to his credit. It was in the Army where Keith decided to make fitness his career passion. Through his career he has trained with some of the best Strength and Conditioning Coaches, traveling the country for Seminars and Certifications to add to his resume and knowledge. Keith has Competed in powerlifting and continues to train for future meets. Keith originally opened Bulldog Bootcamp and Nutrition to a small space in Freehold NJ. From there, Bulldog has grown to become Bulldog Strength and Conditioning within a 5,000 square foot facility. As owner and head coach, Keith insures that each and every member of Bulldog Strength and Conditioning is being programmed and looked after for their ultimate fitness goals. He manages each member’s fitness level and puts them on the correct path for success. It is Keith’s dedication to fitness, his professionalism and his desire for health and wellness for all, that allows him, his clients and Bulldog to succeed. Keith also specializes with sports specific training, individual personal training as well as semi-private, small group and fitness classes.

Maria – Owner/Coach
Maria Corso earned her Master of Science Degree from the City University of New York. She is the owner/operator of Bulldog Strength and Conditioning. She is a certified personal trainer for over 8 years and a certified Nutritional Counselor. She has been working in the fitness industry over 10 years teaching a variety of group fitness classes ranging from Boxing, Bootcamp, TRX, Kettle Bells, TFW, CrossFit Football and ZUMBA. She is currently working towards getting her Doctorate Degree in Nutritional Science from Rutgers University in the fall. Her nutrition knowledge has helped many of her clients transform their overall health and bodies. She brings truth to the rule that 80% is your diet and 20% is exercise. Her motto she believes and lives by is “Abs are made in the Kitchen”. Maria produced her very own cookbook with clean eating recipes that were made available to her 8-week nutrition challenge clients and all members of Bulldog. Maria is very proud of her accomplishments and continues to seek resources and valuable certifications to better service her clients. Maria opened up Bulldog Strength and Conditioning with hopes to expand her passion of helping others and continue to work closely with them to achieve their personal goals. She feels that in the future her expertise will reach farther into the community that has already taken them from 40 members the first year to over 100 active members today. We are excited to fulfill our commitment in helping others achieve a healthy lifestyle.

Pete – Owner/Coach
Pete Sarni has enjoyed a career in sports and fitness for the last 10 years as an athlete, bodybuilder, strength, fitness and nutrition coach. He is certified by International Sports Sciences Association as a Personal Trainer. His experience, in addition to being a Personal Trainer, includes serving as the Fitness and Personal Training Manager at Centra State Fitness and Wellness, and was a Special Advisor to the Training Manager at Club Metro USA Freehold. Pete can assist anyone at any age; ability or special populations achieve their goals. His unique approach to training has helped high school athletes become stronger, faster and more explosive as well as Parkinson’s, traumatic brain injury; surgical rehab and pre/post menopausal clients all remain mobile and strong. He is a natural coach and has spent his entire life helping others both in and out of the gym. He is a patient and generous trainer. His passion is seeing people realize the talent, ability and strength they contain within themselves. Or, as Pete would say :”Dance with the girl that brung you”. His movement expertise combined with his nutrition and diet guidance has built muscles and shed pounds in Monmouth county for the last decade.
Brian – Coach/Technology
Brian entered the fitness industry through his own fitness journey during his own dramatic weight loss of over 50lbs. Brian trained in his younger years as an avid backpacker traveling some of the most spectacular remote locations of the world. His focus now is on building overall strength and functional strength. At Bulldog Strength and Conditioning, Brian coaches some of the Bootcamp classes as well as some strength specific classes. He has been training in the 5/3/1 method for several years and is Training for Warriors Level 1 certified. He has attended seminars from Kabuki strength as we as Westside Barbell to add to his knowledge of Strength and functional strength training. He believes in building a strong body using an emphasis on big compound movements and their assistance movements, as well as developing a strong mind body connection. Brian also prefers to handle some of the behind the scenes activities at Bulldog. Handling some of the Administrative and Technology needs of the Gym. Brian has endless energy for seeing others succeed and surpass their wildest dreams and fitness goals. If not on the deadlifting platform, you can find Brian giving out encouragement to all and ensuring there is never a short supply of high fives in and around Bulldog.
Tim – Coach
Tim has been with Bulldog Strength and Conditioning since October 2015. He graduated from Roselle Park High School in 2003. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served 4 years, completed 2 deployments to the Persian Gulf, Eastern Mediterranean, and African Coast. Following his discharge, he attended William Paterson University where he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Exercise Physiology. He is nationally certified through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) as a Certified Fitness Trainer and through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He also possesses the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. (Sports Awareness for Educating Today’s Youth) Certification. He specializes in Strength and Conditioning, Speed and Agility, and Sports Nutrition.
